Boat Ramp Fees (5) - The Sequel 

The following letter fell off the back of a truck and is published in order to throw light on the aftermath of a messy election, that included some outrageous claims and lies concerning the previous Council. In putting it behind us, there are matters that keep dragging the chain, and this is one. 

I realise that it is not appropriate to put such a long and detailed letter into a post, and am therefore placing it as an attachment for the benefit of aficionados

Some interesting issues are raised therein that need investigating, particularly as there is reliable information that Councilor Fox was strongly advised to withdraw from taking part in this decision-making process. Instead, he defiantly moved the motion, and now the chickens are coming home to roost.

The resolution, welcomed in some quarters, has caused nothing but dismay and confusion in others, and I will be following its progress very closely.

It is an example of a new Council, led by the nose into murky waters at its first meeting.
