A comment appeared this morning on the Steve Ruru post dated 15 November.

I thought that it would be a good idea to bring it up here because I suspect that it comes from a staff member, and therefore carries some weight. Go down and see the remainder of the story and comments.

"An awesome CEO. Words like trust, compassion, vision, integrity and respect all spring to mind when you hear his name. He will be missed more than anyone knows, the effects of his leaving will only become apparent down the line. Watch this space closely".

Poignant, in view of the current shambolic reorganisation - I question whether the recent appointee will qualify for the same description at the time his contract is up in three years. His record would indicate that he is only here for the short term, and we can expect to wave goodbye at that time, while our Council recovers from the Leach/Hammond disaster.
