Columnists and Bloggers

Fran O'Sullivan's wonderful 'shadow' speech in yesterday's Herald was followed by an out of character rant by John Armstrong that constituted "a blunt message for a couple of old-school Aro-Valley socialists".

A frustrated and weary JA had just stepped off the plane from accompanying John Key to Vladivostok, and was in no mood for pussy-footing around - he gave well known left wing bloggers Gordon Campbell and Bryce Edwards a well deserved serve for their polemical griping about his reporting from the APEC Conference.

In the main, their posts were barely-disguised attacks on anything to do with the TPP - the current bete-noir of the intellectual left, the basis for which is provided by Professor Jane Kelsey who has figured prominently in just about every left wing cause since JC was a boy.
