Tuatahi Farms Ltd Cleans Up Its Act

This story in the Waikato Times of 29 August shows just how effective is the 'Big Stick' ($47,250) when it comes to getting recalcitrant farming entities to toe the line in regard to effluent control.

Note from the comments that certain farming interests appear to think that 'softly, softly' is the way to go, completely ignoring the long history of resistance to any reasonable attempt previously made to getting the particular, but by no means only example of 'dirty dairying' up to speed. See the original post that sets the scene for this particular situation.

It is just human nature!
