Lee's Road Sub-Division Independent Hearing

This is interesting in that it would normally have been handled by the Judicial Committee, but it is "non-complying" comprising six rural lifestyle lots in the Coastal Zone (Outside All Policy Areas) to be heard in the Council Chamber at 9am on 2 December.

Blue Water Estates Ltd is the Applicant, and some fairly choice blocks and building sites are involved.

What is interesting is that Lee's Road has suddenly become the centre of attention because the route proposed along the soon to be sealed Road for the Cathedral Cove to Purangi ("Great") walkway. I cannot quite understand why having hundreds of walkers driving in, parking at the top of the Road and then perambulating past your front gate has any particular attraction, but whatever excites you!

Interesting also that this is all on the move just when Leach is faced with with a predictably intense round of of questioning on Saturday in regard to his whole Great Walkway project in which he has invested so much.
