Now There Are Two Business Associations

While the Thames Business Association fluffs around working out how to spend the $80,000 secured from our Community Board to stir up the town to give some semblance of life, in the meantime, another has got under way at no cost to rate-payers with activities already on the cards. Here is a flyer I picked up of one set for 28 June.

This kind of activity could well put a spanner in the works of the TBA if they don't get their act together.I am waiting to hear just how the TBA plans to access the balance of the $80,000 that has not alreeady been paid out as I advised in an earlier post.

Watch closely as they set about employing manager/s, and endeavour to secure similar funding for future years. That is how these little boondoogles grow into big, fat establised boongoogles. If anyone knows what is going on, plese let me know as I would like to track it, purely as an 'interested' ratepayer, or course.
